MINDFUL MOMENTS HEIGHTEN MY SPIRITUAL AWARENESS AND BRING ME PEACE.
Throughout my day, I stop occasionally to be mindful and aware of my surroundings. I take a breath and close my eyes. I notice the sensations of my body—the temperature around me, the touch of my clothing, the sounds I hear. I take another breath and observe my thoughts and feelings. Am I calm or anxious? Am I harried and hurried, or do I feel on purpose with today?
As my realization of Spirit expands, distractions gently fall away. My busy thoughts are calmed and any apprehension or concerns are eliminated. I tap in to a deeper consciousness as I allow prayer and meditation to bring me to a sacred recognition and appreciation of my life. These moments bring me peace.
