Sunday Worship Services, September 4-October 30

Daring GreatlyA Sunday Series of messages based on the book Daring Greatly: How the Courage to be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent and Educate by Brene Brown.

Dr. Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work who has spent the past 13 years studying vulnerability, shame, worthiness, resilience and courage. She is a well-known author and has often appeared on the Oprah Show. Sunday morning messages during September and October will focus on her book, Daring Greatly. Our intention is to make a shift in consciousness to move beyond any personal life story of suffering into a healing story of wisdom by allowing our egos to be in conversation with our souls.

October 2 — Daring to Release the Armor of Vulnerability
As children we learn ways to protect ourselves from vulnerability. As adults, we must remove the armor so we  live with courage, purpose and connection. As we take off armor and allow ourselves to be vulnerable, we are able to show up and allow ourselves to be seen. Learn more about our Sunday services.
