Mid-week Faith Lift Service ~ Wednesdays, 6-6:45 p.m.

Sunday Worship Services, September 4-October 30

Daring GreatlyA Sunday Series of messages based on the book Daring Greatly: How the Courage to be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent and Educate by Brene Brown.

Dr. Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work who has spent the past 13 years studying vulnerability, shame, worthiness, resilience and courage. She is a well-known author and has often appeared on the Oprah Show. Sunday morning messages during September and October will focus on her book, Daring Greatly. Our intention is to make a shift in consciousness to move beyond any personal life story of suffering into a healing story of wisdom by allowing our egos to be in conversation with our souls.

September 4 — A Long and Winding Road With a Few Speed Bumps
Rev. Patty Bittner, Ministerial Intern. Join us as we hear Rev. Patty s message of her life’s journey, based on Unity’s Five Principles, described as a long and winding road with a few speed bumps. Learn more about our Sunday services.

World Day of Prayer Service
Wednesday, September 7, 7-9 p.m.
Join us for this special service that is facilitated by Unity of Richmond’s Prayer Chaplains. World Day of Prayer is a 24-hour prayer vigil celebrated at Unity Village and in Unity centers and churches around the world. World Day of Prayer gives us an opportunity to come together in celebration of our oneness with God, each other, and our world. Through prayer we foster peace and wholeness in our community and in our individual lives. The theme this year is “Discover the Power Within: Unleash Your Divine Potential.” This year’s affirmation is “As I discover the power within, I unleash my divine potential.”

$4 for Education Sunday
September 18
4 for Education – A latte … Fast food … Flip flops. $4 will buy you any of these. But $4 can also raise world consciousness. On September 18, we invite every Unity congregant to give $4 for Education. By giving $4 for education, you can help Unity teachings reach a critical mass and strengthen Unity’s presence in the world.
