Mid-week Faith Lift Service ~ Wednesdays, 6-6:45 p.m.
Each summer during the July worship services, we will offer a series of “hot topics” during the Sunday service that some may consider to be controversial in nature. It is our intent to discuss two sides of every issue. We hope this series demonstrates the practical application of spiritual principles to social and sometimes political issues. Enjoy stretching your mind, engaging in high-value conversations and staying in your heart.
July 31 – America’s Epidemic Called Suicide
The rate of suicide continues to climb in America. Yet it appears that we are doing little to address the causes and give adequate support to families who are affected by love ones who decide to take their own lives. Are there resources, organizations or systems in place to help those in crisis?
Stay after the service for the related group discussion, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
This summer, we invite you to envision a “Summer Like We Have Never Had Before.” We want to increase ways to remain centered in our daily lives in a higher vibration of positive energy radiating a calm, clear Presence of Love and Understanding to any situation. Let’s “Think Peace, Be Peace, Teach Peace and Create Peace.” Below are some ways for us to claim our individualized innate wholeness and worthiness and serve the greater Richmond community and greater world.
- Deepen individual spiritual practices by setting aside quiet times of prayer and reflection during the day…
- Envision new visitors and members in our spiritual community…
- Contribute to the flow of our resources as a Consistent Giver…
- Affirm increased commitment to the life of this ministry as we discern ways to do mighty works together…
